FRANKLY SWEET

My name is Frances McNaughton. I have been a tutor and demonstrator since 1987, teaching all aspects of sugarcraft to students from beginner to advanced level. I have travelled internationally providing demonstrations and workshops for exhibitions, shops, BSG groups and sugarcraft clubs and I have fans around the world through my online tutorials on YouTube channel Franklysweet1.

My sugarcraft books have become international bestsellers. Books in the Twenty-to-make series by Search Press, along with four larger books: Sensational Sugar Fairies, Sensational Sugar Animals, Modelling Fancy Dress Babies, and Modelling Fairies in Sugar make up my list of popular books. 

I developed my own set of cutters for making tiny sugar shoes, Frankly Sweet Tiny Shoe Cutters which feature in my books Twenty to Make Mini Sugar Shoes and Mini Sugar Bags published by Search Press. 
I made sugarcraft props for the films Notting Hill, Chocolat, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and three of the Harry Potter films, Into the Woods and was involved in the making of the TV advert for the full-size Skoda car cake in 2007.
